Larry Rogers, Acting Chairperson
Larry started his professional life as a commissioned officer in the United States Army. Stationed initially in cold-war era West Germany, he got his first glimpse of the world outside of the United States. Larry returned to the USA, and upon completion of military service, he joined US Government civilian service as Resident Engineer at VA Medical Centers in Columbia, South Carolina, Roseburg, Oregon, and Temple Texas. Larry later returned to Germany as a Department of Defense civilian employee, where he was the Director of Security Systems and Electronic Equipment at HQ, US Army, Europe. After four years in that role, Larry was a Senior Project Manager for Lockwood Greene Engineers, where he oversaw work on the DOE Savannah River Plant security upgrades and a major NASA Kennedy Space Center security upgrade project, to name a couple. After Lockwood Greene, Larry started up a new Communications and Project Management firm, Data Research Ohio, which he successfully led for twenty-five years, before retiring to execute another startup. Fueled by his passion for the wildest places in America, The Conservancy Project was born. Larry is a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a graduate of Villanova University, where he earned a Master’s Certificate Project Management, specializing in Information Technology.
Eric Curby, Senior Director, Projects and Program Execution
Eric began his Capital Management career as a project manager for Goodyear Aerospace, where he worked in US Government operations for five years. Eric then joined the Procter and Gamble Company, where he worked in corporate engineering and capital finance planning and reporting for the next 30 years. At P&G, his Capital Management career included Projects, Construction, Cost, Purchasing, Scheduling, Maintenance, and Financial Controls. Eric completed his career as P&G’s Capital Management SAP Applications global process owner. He grew up enjoying everything outdoors and retired to his houseboat on Dale Hollow Lake, TN. Eric has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toledo and MBA from the University of Akron.
Bryan Rogers, Creative Director
Bryan is a commercial product designer with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University. Bryan brings over twelve years of experience designing products for consumer goods, firearms safety, and medical devices. He has an extensive consulting background from his private design practice where he has designed over 25 commercial products for clients to date. Bryan has a passion for wildlife and the environment that was instilled in him from an early age, and is fueled by the desire to design products in a sustainable way that help human advancement without endangering the environment and wildlife therein. He is driven to create products that protect and address the needs of endangered species.
